Has anyone noticed the date of this post? A full month before the Apple iPad launch! This concept can now be realised within months. All Bonnier needs is to write app, which shouldn't be too difficult or costly as the new Apple iPad SDK has most of the UI elemnts in place.

I can't wait to read magazines on my iPad. Bonnier, don't let this concept die!

Very insightful and extremely well thought out concept, the interface design for the device is beautiful.

I absolutely agree with the page curl concept, it's not inherently tied into the use of digital media, but a cheat between the printed page and the screen, sort of half committed... An interesting point.

It set my mind racing on other ideas behind the application of this device eg: subscriptions, content delivery, connectivity, cost and theft issues and the evolution of page layout applications to suit this device.

It really seems that the printed magazine has ever mounting pressure on it to accept its redundancy. Will it ever happen? I can easily imagine using these tablets in the (not so distant) future.

I enjoyed this post immensely.

Cheers!
